I REMOVED A BROKEN TOOTH FROM THE LOWER LIP. PT. HAD A FALL 3 MONTH AGO AND BROKE HER TOOTH. INJURY OVER LOWER LIP HEALED. AFTER TWO MONTH SHE DEVELOPED SINUS IN HER LOWER LIP. IT WAS EXPLORED AND A BROKEN TOOTH REMOVED.

traumatic gastric perforation

A person had afall from the height. He suffered fracture of Lt upper limb, he had a rigid abdomen. On exploration a perforation near his lesser curvature pyloic end was found.

I got another case of # penis’ I operated on it. He has # of one (lt) cavernose tear. Repaired with 3/0 vicryl.Patient was discharged. ) On 15 days follow up Erection was okay.

In the sever form of fracture penis both the corpora cavernosa and the corpus spongiosum are torn. In our country you never get proper history.

We got one case of such fracture penis.

One can easily see both corpora cavernosa (ruptured) and the foleys catheter in totally separated corpus spongiosum.

RETRACTION OF COLOSTOMY PORT

A young female had end colostomy for some malignancy of sigmoid colon. After 20 days the colostomy retracted and the wound completely healed resulting a smooth scar.Pt came to ER with crampy abdominal pain and swelling of colostomy site.

The colostomy wound was explored and colostomy was refashioned.

WHY????

After joining MES I come across so many interesting cases. I like to share them with everybody. I cannot publish them in journal because they take so much of time and very often the wise men there don't find them good enough to publish. Here we go….

Huge fungating thyryod

 

 

This young lady of 23y had a relatively slowly going thyroid nodule. An FNAC was done. It rapidly enlarged. skin over it was necrosed.  It turned out to be a fungating bleeding mass. FNAC was adenomatoid goiter. Hemithyroidectomy with local lymphnode resection was done. HP report was papillary CA.

THIS is the excised mass.

THATS how she looked after wound healed.
